The goal of the Cork Urban Soil Project is to evaluate techniques for creating urban food soil from potential waste materials, such as food scraps. By collaborating with the community, their aim is to promote food sovereignty and provide an example for innovative approaches to the city’s waste streams.

This project is part of the Community Climate Action Programme Strand 2 and is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications.
