Dragon Boats, Kayaks and row boats will gather on the Garavogue river for a distance participatory paddle. Public are invited to take part in the spectacle of the Wakening of the Dragon Opening Ceremony, and the Flower Ceremony in memory of those who have passed from cancer. As the flotilla of boats head up river, the public will be invited to enjoy guided walks along the riverbank with Birdwatch Ireland and the Wellness Warrior. Also available to the public will be light refreshments at the Gate Lodge Cafe. This event will be the first of it’s kind in Ireland.
