Housing for the homeless, including those self-isolating due to Covid-19
The primary purpose of Finisklin Housing Association Ltd., Shalomar, is the provision of emergency and transitional supported accommodation services to homeless men, with the aim of supporting each service user in securing permanent housing; all in line with the goals of the National Homeless Strategy. Our model is one of befriending, supporting, empowering and respecting our service users, with strict confidentiality maintained at all times. Where possible, our primary aim is to enable each service users achieve independent living and return to the community
Shalomar is a homeless hostel for men over the age of 18. We provide temporary/emergency housing and support service users in transitioning to independent living. We operate 24 hour a day, 7 days a week and our service users are referred to us via the Sligo County Council.
