Grange Tidy towns has been an active group for over ten years. It has recently changed the management committee in the last year and has a very active group of almost 30 volunteers. Every Tuesday this group is notified through whats app group text of where we intend to carry out work that day and what to bring. To date the work carried out has been cleaning parks/village from litter, cutting back scrubs/hedges planting trees, power washing streets and cleaning the waterways throughout the village. For 2020 our plans is to have at least 40 stainless steel flower baskets throughout the village and clearing heavy growth along grange river while maintaining the other work that we continued to do up until now. In the coming three years we will be aiming to open up a secure and well lit walk way along the grange river for all members of the public to enjoy.
