This is a small group established to research and commemorate Henry L Gavigan (AKA Henry L Gavan), known as the Bard of Kilmactigue. Henry (1872-1933) lived his adult live in America where he became known as a writer and antiquarian. He was best know for his poetry, which has hallmarked by his love for his native place.
