The festival aims to foster and develop the traditional skills and heritage of Irish Craft in the region through community based skills programmes and events. The festival dovetails community programming and events, with initiatives such as Sligo Craft trail, and Made in Sligo network activities and other independent craft makers in order to develop the profile and enhance the innate skill base for craft in the region.
