North West Simon Community is a not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer board working with those at risk of homelessness in counties Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim. Our mission is to prevent people from becoming homeless, develop and facilitate services that respond to individual needs and enable people to live in their own home and appropriate services to support this. 371 people in 142 households sought our support in 2018, rising to 401 people in 189 households in 2019 and 215 households comprised of 499 children, women and men in 2020. In 2021, North West Simon Community provided either homeless preventative support or social housing accommodation to a total of 414 individuals from 216 unique households that were comprised of 246 adults and 168 children.
