The Climate Education Clubs co-created a nature-based workbook on the Sustainable Development Goals with school children and school teachers in Co. Sligo.

The SDG workbook became a key resource in fostering environmental awareness and encouraging meaningful conversations around sustainability, empowering students and teachers alike to actively contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The project commenced in February 2024 with a launch day at St. John’s National School, Temple Street, Sligo.

Scoil Naomh Eanna, Carraroe, St. Aiden’s NS, Monasteraden, and St. Joseph’s NS, Templeboy also took part in a series of workshop days during the co-creation journey.

Schoolchildren and schoolteachers provided invaluable feedback, content and recommendations.

The revised workbook was released in February 2025 at the Climate Education Clubs Celebration Day.
