Sligo Athletic club is a sports athletics club based in Sligo town. It has over 500 members, 350 of its members are between the ages of 5-16. The club offers its members and local community a fun and healthy activity in a safe environment for kids and adults. We have over 20 coaches/ volunteers who assist with coaching within the club. The club provides weekly coaching. The equipment included in the sports capital application would enable the club to provide additional coaching to children of the Sligo town area and also a broader range of athletic field events. The benefits of the equipment will also allow the club to further develop and enhance fundamental movement and athletic skills for both juveniles, juniors and adults.
