The Sligo Hunt Pony Club is a very active branch of the Irish Pony Club. The Irish Pony Club is the main equestrian organisation for providing training in all disciplines of equestrian activities in the Country. We run activities to suit both the competitive member and non-competitive member. The Sligo Hunt Pony Club is a Voluntary Youth Organisation providing training and competitions in Showjumping, Dressage, Eventing, Mounted Games, Combined Training, Hunter trials, Minimus, Tetrathlon and other fun activities as well as the every popular Pony Club Camp in the Summer. Encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship, and to instil in members the proper care of their animals. To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
