After two years apart, the Sligo St Patricks Festival Committee is delighted to announce that we will be gathering together again for the 2022 parade.
The theme for this year’s parade is one simple word: TOGETHER. After all we have been through since March 2020, this is a great opportunity to mark a special day in our annual calendar of events for Sligo town on March 17th.
Once again, the St Patrick’s Festival committee are inviting all the terrific entries from over the years to put on their thinking caps and make this a very special parade for all their local fans and visitors. We can’t wait to see your fantastic floats and marches again!
As the parade makes its way through the centre of town, there will be a new parade prize winning category for ‘Best Village Entry’ plus a newly developed music trail that includes a visit across the venues in Sligo town on the nights of the 17th and 18th.
