The So Funny Sligo Comedy Festival was set up in 2019 and ran a hugely successful 4 day, multi venue event. Attendance figures reached in excess of 1500 in the even’t s debut year. THe long term goal is to build a large festival that will fill Sligo Town and attract both local and national and international visitors. October was chosen last year as it was off season and the hope was to fill bed nights when rooms were actually available. In 2020, plans are in place to use an even quieter weekend. (Nov 11-14th), We aim to provide top quality comedy entertainment across the town, in many venues of varying sizes. We use a mix of local, national and International acts in our programme.
