Tubbercurry Community First Responders (CFRs) are volunteers who are trained to attend certain emergencies in the area. Their aim is to reach a potential life-threatening emergency in the first vital minutes before the ambulance arrives. CFRs respond to Chest Pain, Cardiac Arrest, Choking and Strokes and work under the guidance of the National Ambulance Service. Offering free CPR training to the public and local businesses who wish to avail of it.
